MNAC

The National Art Museum of Catalonia ( Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya), also known by its acronym MNAC, is located in the city of Barcelona (Spaiñ). Notable for its collection of Romanesque art it's considered the world's most important museum of its kind.

The currrent museum was established in 1990 with the union of the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, established in 1945, and the Museum of Catalan Art, opened in 1934. The parts of those museums were added to  a new section for  engravings and other funds of the General Library of Art History
